Colour Bomb

Packed with colour and zesty as a lorry load of limes is the second photostory from Life Instyle. This brief was a serious hit for this colour addict, and I was just in my element running around the polished wooden floors, zipping from beautiful pastels to zingy neons (the key biggest colour trends this season).  Ahhh heaven.

Lifeinstyle in motion

I'm so excited to share some beautiful footage of Life Instyle from the very talented and creative Jacko & Lauren of Extra Mile Pictures. It was so cool to work with the lovely pair at the event, and great for me to see all the visual goodness from another (moving) angle! Enjoy.

Life Instyle, Melbourne

As well as my day job as a marketer, I'm also a photographer and I have the hugely fun job of photographing beautiful design show, Life Instyle. The most recent event was held in Melbourne at the beginning of August and was just a feast of the eyes - and massive temptation everywhere you look! Only a night before flying to Melbourne from Sydney for the event, I had flown in from the UK, so I had expected to be dazed and confused from evil jetlag, but thanks to well timed sleep blocks and a heap of inspiration, I was firing on all cylinders for the 4 day show. More to come, but here's some snap shots of the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building, funky people and stunning stands from creative exhibitors.

zuster

When I heard on the grapevine that iconic design mecca Zuster was launching a sister store and arriving in Sydney this Autumn, I was excited to say the least.

Established in 1990 by sisters Wilhelmina McCarroll and Fleur Bouw, Zuster has crafted a niche where beautiful design meets furniture that is built to last, redefining "investment furniture" for the 21st century.

The Surry Hills showroom is light and spacious, allowing the wide range of furniture to breathe. Warm hues of willow, american oak and amber timber are softened by grey and cream wool throws, punchy ruby rugs and contrasting denim-blue textile upholstered chairs. Throw in expressive artwork, colourful glass and south american inspired pom-poms and you have a blend of subtle style with glimpses of a colourful personality.

Whether you're looking for that next investment piece or just interior inspiration, beyond the fire-red doors, you'll find a calm haven dedicated to beautiful style with substance.
