It's not everyday that your best friend gets engaged, and this month two of mine did just that. This weekend we all headed into the city and tucked into a champagne breakfast at the Opera Bar overlooking Sydney Harbour to toast Kate and Wayne becoming engaged. As winter draws to a close, spring was definitely in the air as the bubbles flowed, the excited chatter grew, giggles and then raucous laughter (inevitable with these girls) bounced around the place. A wedding dress fitting and a Tamarama home-styling and photoshoot followed, so all in all it was a perfect (hectic!) day with some of the most awesome women I know.
